Microsoft Longhorn Beta 3 Download now available
The long awaited Microsoft server platform code named longhorn entered public beta testing on Wednesday in version number 3 (04/25/2007). Microsoft also states the product is on track to debut the second half of 2007 introducing a new IIS 7 among many new toolsets including a revised remote desktop and the addition of PowerShell and a new server Core.

Personally I am looking forward to the new security in the core of the OS, new IIS version and tighter integration.
We have delayed the deployment of Vista in our environmentbased on further testing of Longhorn for added desktop and security functions so we look forward to a full RC hopefully coming soon.
