Can I sell my house please! St-Cloud-Homes.com

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

So in this wonderful housing market I have decided that things need to change a little and we need a new approach.  I picked up a few domains over the past few years and decided that I am going to use one.  I don’t understand why agents continue to use media that does not work!  Simply posting your house on the agents site and having it listed in the MLS is not going to sell your house (in most cases now) when you have 10,000 others in the market with you. This last week I started to work on a plan, it involves me building a site, using adwords, some SEO, links in the proper place and a mix of other things in hopes that I can sell my house faster. My house has been on the market for about 90 days and I have had one person look at it - now I understand having my road under construction does not help .. but lets not continue doing the same things that haven’t been working for 90 days. It won’t sell itself!

I grew up in web advertising and marketing - I have no problem managing campaigns for Adwords and the like along with using Picasa, Facebook, Linkedin and Youtube to host media and to open communication.

So check it out …

Blade.org Sets in Motion “Mega-Trends”

Friday, July 11th, 2008

Press is rolling on the new site … (http://www.bladeuser.org)Here is an excerpt from the arctle talking about http://www.bladeuser.org

“Blade.org provides an invaluable interchange between users of blade servers and the vendor community,” said Kyle Ohme, Chairman of the Blade.org Customer Advisory Council. “Now that so many companies have deployed blade servers, many blade users have expressed the desire to join in a forum — like those in many other product categories that enjoy strong adoption — in which they can interact with their peers as well as the vendor community. Blade.org is becoming a diverse community where vendors can transform end-users’ needs for workarounds and custom development into off-the-shelf blade server products and specialized data center solutions.”

Bladeuser.org goes live building a blade resource for everyone

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

I wanted to take a moment and update everyone on a new site I have been working on … http://www.Bladeuser.org

We have been working hard as a Customer Advisory Council to provide a foundation and vision to the road ahead.  We are very excited as end users to be involved with such a powerful and innovative organization.  Its our vision to create an atmosphere that comes full circle merging the vendor and end user relationships.   We feel by providing feedback as a end user we can provide feedback to the vendors working to solve our issues and ultimately make our experiences easier and more productive with the solutions we use daily.  Our goal is to look forward not reinventing the wheel but rather improve and innovate new solutions that better fit the focus of the customer.
When the Customer Advisory Committee was formed over a year ago it was one of our missions to create an atmosphere that welcomes feedback and community involvement.  I am very happy at this time to announce http://www.bladeuser.org as the starting point to this process.

I invite you to check out the site and provide feedback and use the site as it is yours.

Blade.org press release.

Blade.org continues to grow and prove to be a leader in the space!

“Blade.org provides an invaluable interchange between users of blade servers and the vendor community,” said Kyle Ohme, Chairman of the Blade.org Customer Advisory Council and Director of Information Technology at W3i, a global, interactive media company. “Now that so many companies have deployed blade servers, many blade users have expressed the desire to join in a forum – like those in many other product categories that enjoy strong adoption – in which they can interact with their peers as well as the vendor community. Blade.org is becoming a diverse community where vendors can transform end-users’ needs for workarounds and custom development into off-the-shelf blade server products and specialized data center solutions.”

Mr. T1 - Bandwidth speed test with Mr. T

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

I have to pass this one on - its just way to funny to keep to myself.  So, for all of the A-Team fans still around - this one is for you.Make 823

“Mr. T1″ is a bandwidth meter detector that runs as a standalone, cross-platform (OSX, Linux, Windows) application. The project constantly checks the current speed of the connected network and if it reaches that of a standard T1 line (1.5mbit/sec) or higher then a Mr.T sound sample is triggered in the form of “I Pity The Fool” or one of Mr.T’s other various sayings. The project playfully examines the metaphorical connection between fictional characters from mainstream entertainment media and the naming conventions of modern communication systems such as the Internet.
