Verizon Wireless to release Cyclone around May 14 2007
Friday, March 30th, 2007Confirmed: Verizon will be releasing the long awaited new handset on May 14th 2007 named Cyclone.
It will support a dual band 800 / 1900 MHz CDMA for the US and GSM / GPRS support for Intl roaming. Its moving the navigationto a trackball style similar to the Perl and supporting OS 4.2. This version of the handset will also support a media player and removable memory.
This is a large step in the right direction for Verizon and RIM offering one of the best phones to hit the Verizon market in a long time!
I know I cant wait to get my hands on one!
