So in this wonderful housing market I have decided that things need to change a little and we need a new approach.  I picked up a few domains over the past few years and decided that I am going to use one.  I don’t understand why agents continue to use media that does not work!  Simply posting your house on the agents site and having it listed in the MLS is not going to sell your house (in most cases now) when you have 10,000 others in the market with you.This last week I started to work on a plan, it involves me building a site, using adwords, some SEO, links in the proper place and a mix of other things in hopes that I can sell my house faster.My house has been on the market for about 90 days and I have had one person look at it - now I understand having my road under construction does not help .. but lets not continue doing the same things that haven’t been working for 90 days. It won’t sell itself!

I grew up in web advertising and marketing - I have no problem managing campaigns for Adwords and the like along with using Picasa, Facebook, Linkedin and Youtube to host media and to open communication.

Moving your “My Mucic” and “My Pictures” locations in Vista

Moving form XP to Vista changes some day to day tasks along with structure of data beneath the GUI.

So what happens if you have thousands of music files that you would like referenced from you’re “My Music” and your partition for you OS is not that large? Say

you just went on a vacation and returned with thousands of new images that you would like to have on an external drive not to fill up your laptop with all of the

photos .. what do you do?

Here’s how to relocate any of the folders in your profile….

1) Navigate to the drive that you would like to use for the new location and create the directory structure. I:\Music or I:\Pictures
2) Click on Start and click the bodl user name at the top right in the Start menu. This will open your profile editor.
3) Right click the icon for the property that you would like to edit. Documents, My Music and so on … Choose properties.
4) On the location tab click on the button Move (middle button)
5) You can then select the location that you have previously created.
6) Click select folder and return to the location tab – click OK and you will be presented with a conformation if you really want to do this … select yes.
7) Your done!

That’s it – all you have to do to move your locations of My Music and other folders. This is a great way to map large amounts of data from other locations and

drives to your my Docs folder for backup and/or just piece of mind.

Bladeuser.org goes live building a blade resource for everyone

I wanted to take a moment and update everyone on a new site I have been working on … http://www.Bladeuser.org

We have been working hard as a Customer Advisory Council to provide a foundation and vision to the road ahead.  We are very excited as end users to be involved with such a powerful and innovative organization.  Its our vision to create an atmosphere that comes full circle merging the vendor and end user relationships.   We feel by providing feedback as a end user we can provide feedback to the vendors working to solve our issues and ultimately make our experiences easier and more productive with the solutions we use daily.  Our goal is to look forward not reinventing the wheel but rather improve and innovate new solutions that better fit the focus of the customer.
When the Customer Advisory Committee was formed over a year ago it was one of our missions to create an atmosphere that welcomes feedback and community involvement.  I am very happy at this time to announce http://www.bladeuser.org as the starting point to this process.
